This unique broad-spectrum physical sunscreen is an advanced formula which contains natural ingredients to protect by reflecting and scattering harmful UV rays and radiation known to cause skin damage. This natural broad-spectrum sun protective sunscreen utilizes 8.0% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®) and 6.0% Titanium Dioxide (Micronized) to shield the skin against damaging UVA and UVB sun rays.
This advanced formula contains natural mineral UV sunscreen actives to effectively prevent your skin from sunburn caused by UVB radiation, prevent premature skin aging linked to long UVA rays, and reduce your overall risk of skin cancer. Broad-Spectrum UV Shield SPF 30 will provide your skin with complete UVA/UVB protection against the sun's harmful rays using natural mineral UV blocking ingredients in addition to photo protection provided by our topical antioxidant selection.
Antioxidant Vitamin E fights against damage caused by free radicals, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and environmental pollutants, preventing cellular damage. Aloe moisturizes and soothes the skin. This PABA-, and Paraben-Free broad-spectrum sunscreen is ultra-light, non-greasy, and fast absorbing. Chemical-Free and Non-comodogenic, this broad-spectrum sunscreen is ideal for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Both Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®), and Titanium Dioxide (Micronized) are physical, natural mineral UV blockers from UVA/UVB sun rays and radiation. These two sun blocking active ingredients are well-documented to be effective when both are in formulation.
Combining chemical sunscreen blocking ingredients may have the potential to cause cross-interactions which can compromise the overall effectiveness of the sunscreen product. Both Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®), and Titanium Dioxide (Micronized) have been approved for sunscreen usage by the FDA.

8.0% Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®) – Designed with cutting-edge technology, this mineral UV blocking sunscreen ingredient has transparent and clear coat physical properties, which provide maximum protection against UVA and UVB rays. It provides a barrier to prevent the penetration of skin damaging UV rays and radiation by scattering and reflecting UV light, offering true UVA and UVB broad-spectrum protection.
6.0% Titanium Dioxide – A naturally occurring mineral with a high capacity to reflect, scatter, and absorb UVA and UVB light rays and radiation within a full spectrum.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) – An important natural antioxidant provides soothing, healing, and moisturizing properties. Helps protect against environmentally induced oxidation in the skin's outer layer.
Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A) – One of the most important natural antioxidants for the appearance of healthy skin. Its small molecular structure gives it the ability to penetrate through the epidermis (upper layer of skin), and into the dermis (lower level of skin) to repair collagen and elastase. Renews and regenerates skin cells, and stimulates new collagen production. Effectively treats and prevents the occurrence of acne.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract – Has potent moisturizing, soothing, and healing properties. Stimulates collagen production by enhancing skin cell reproduction up to 8 times, with penetration rates 4 times higher than water. This natural plant extract prevents inflammation and promotes wound healing.
Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract – A personal care cleansing ingredient which is well known for its astringent, anti-septic, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties. These skin rejuvenating properties help rid dead surface cells, clear pores, and stimulate new cell formation.
Glycrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract – Contains anti-inflammatory, anti-irritation, and soothing properties, this botanical extract helps to soothe and calm acne-prone skin. It contains the molecule licochalcone, primarily responsible for controlling oil production.
Camellia Sinensis Leaf (White Tea) Extract – This potent antioxidant has anti-inflammatory properties as well as the ability to inhibit enzymatic activity which attacks collagen and elastase.
Beta Glucans – This antioxidant is capable of penetrating deep into the lower skin layers at a high rate, to truly deliver significant results of its skin improving properties. It helps stimulate immune cells, and accelerates tissue repair. Effectively fights off bacteria and promotes wound healing.

Directions
Directions:
- Apply liberally to face, neck, décolleté, back of hands and to other sun exposed areas as needed.
- Apply 15 min before exposure to the sun. Re-apply after swimming, if active, sweating, or every 2-3 hours.
- Not intended for use on children under 8 months of age. Consult a physician.

No. Broad-Spectrum UV Shield SPF 30 has water-resistant properties. Like all sunscreens it should be re-applied after swimming, if active, sweating, or every 2-3 hours.
