Magnesium Citrate
An Enzyme CoFactor
Size: 90 Capsules - 140 mg
Magnesium Citrate
Magnesium plays a vital role in energy, muscle, nerve, and heart health — yet most people do not get enough from diet alone. Magnesium Citrate offers an easily absorbed form of this essential mineral, helping restore healthy magnesium levels throughout the body.
Magnesium is essential for more than 300 biochemical reactions and supports nearly every organ system. It works in harmony with calcium to maintain healthy cellular, tissue, and organ function and acts as a catalyst in energy production.*
Among the various forms available, magnesium citrate is highly absorbable. The chelation of magnesium with citric acid enhances uptake, making this form ideal for supporting healthy nerve and muscle function.* It’s also beneficial for individuals who have difficulty absorbing magnesium from other sources.
When taken in a 1:1 ratio with calcium and Vitamin D3, magnesium citrate helps ease PMS-related discomforts such as breast tenderness, anxiety, fatigue, and bloating.*

Why Magnesium Is Often Lacking
Modern diets and agricultural practices contribute to magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is rarely replenished in soils and is lost during food processing and cooking. For example, refined white sugar loses nearly all its magnesium during production, and up to 96% of the magnesium in wheat is removed during the refining of white flour. Magnesium is not added back into enriched flour, and foods like fats, oils, and meats provide little to none.
Cooking vegetables in water can also leach out up to half of their magnesium content. Diets high in dairy and low in whole foods further increase the need for magnesium, as dairy contains about ten times more calcium than magnesium.
Magnesium Deficiency
Over 70% of women fail to get the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of magnesium. Low levels can affect the cardiovascular, muscular, and nervous systems, leading to a wide variety of symptoms that may be difficult to pinpoint.
Common Signs of Low Magnesium:
- Muscle cramps, soreness, and back or neck pain
- TMJ discomfort, headaches, and chest tightness
- Heart palpitations or irregular heartbeat
- Menstrual cramping or PMS symptoms
- Constipation or urinary spasms
- Anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, or fatigue
Other Possible Indicators:
- Cravings for carbohydrates or chocolate
- Confusion, migraines, or tremors
- Kidney stones or sensitivity to light and sound
Maintaining adequate magnesium supports calm energy, muscle relaxation, heart rhythm, and overall well-being.*
